It’s been almost two years since Bas delivered his impressive debut album, Last Winter. While it may feel like a long wait for the Dreamville faithful, the first signee to J. Cole‘s imprint couldn’t be serving up his new LP at a better time. STASHED recently had the privilege of sitting in on a listening session of Bas‘ Too High To Riot at which the burgeoning emcee offered insight into the making of the 12-track album on both an artistic and personal level. With THTR hitting stores and iTunes today, we decided to share our list of 11 things you should know about the LP.
Hit the jump for a few gems on one of the best hip-hop releases of 2016 thus far. If you haven’t already, be sure to purchase Too High To Riot on iTunes.
